Thoughts from
the margins.

Not certainty packaged as wisdom. Things I have noticed, tested, side-eyed and refused to simplify.

I do not write about one subject. I look at many subjects through the same lens.

Creativity, marketing, motherhood, money, self-trust and culture meet here because they meet in real life. The thread is the gap between what we were sold and what is actually true.

01Attention / Care

Being seen is not the same as being remembered.

A view can be counted. Care changes what somebody remembers, repeats, chooses or refuses. Marketing became very good at measuring the first and quietly started pretending it had measured the second.

02Creativity / Commitment

Commitment is a creative advantage.

Endless optionality looks like freedom until every decision has to be made again. Commitment gives an idea enough time to develop a language, a world and a body of evidence.

03Taste / Strategy

Good taste is not a strategy. But it helps.

A beautiful execution cannot rescue a weak idea. But strategy without taste keeps producing correct work nobody wants to look at. The tension is not which one matters. It is whether the two can recognise each other.

04Discernment / Culture

Black-and-white thinking offers certainty by editing out everything inconveniently human.

The internet rewards the clean ruling. Real life keeps producing context, contradiction and people who are two things at once.
